2015 was a relatively uneventful year, overall. Christmas and New Year came and went. Gatti was still working for the freight forwarding company Cargo Partner, as she had since 2010, although the ambient conditions she experienced within the company were deteriorating due to frequent changes in management, and she was actively looking for alternative employment elsewhere.
I turned sixty in February, and continued to work on various modifications and improvements in both our flat and in the garden, as well as on my own projects. These activities included expanding and updating the TechnologyUK.net website, improving my guitar playing, and attempting to learn better German.
Gatti was doing well following her bariatric surgery in 2014 and subsequent weight loss, and was enjoying being able to wear clothes that didn't come from the "plus-size" rack. Our social calendar was also fairly busy, and there were holidays in Denmark and Greece, as well as a trip to the UK to visit my father and other family members, which I undertook alone due to Gatti's work commitments.
