Our mother made us get done up in our choirboy outfits for this photograph. As you can tell, I was not best pleased, although Philip seems to be taking it in his stride. Well, I suppose he always did have a much sunnier disposition than me.
This picture includes a vase of flowers in order to emphasize the fact that this is indeed the real Philip and not a scale model. Some people might very well think otherwise because of the cheesy grin (“Surely, no one can really have such a cheesy smile?”, I hear you say). Trust me, it's real. But I usually compensated by looking really miserable. Well, you've got to make an effort, haven't you . . .
